Come join us for an action packed fun filled night playing dodgeball, nerf wars and other games while filling up on pizza. All 11 members of our karate competition team have qualified for Nationals in Ft Lauderdale Florida and AAU Junior Olympics in Houston Texas. This is a fundraiser to help offset some of the travel costs as they represent Shallotte and Brunswick county on the National stage competing against the best in the country.

Karate helps teach discipline, respect and also boosts a students confidence. Shelby is just one example out of the many students who learn karate at South East Carolina Isshinryu.

LELAND, N.C. (WWAY) – Shelby Milliken is coined the ‘Cape Fear Karate Kid.’ The 8-year-old is already a multi time AAU national champ. Now, she’s a Hall of Famer. There’s no telling how far karate will take Shelby, but we also don’t know how far she can take the sport. Categories: Sports

Come join us for our first karate camp in 2022. June 20 thru June 24. Have an action packed week filled with fun and games, karate lessons and a Friday pizza party. Pack a lunch Monday thru Thursday, we will supply drinks and snacks. Registration is not mandatory but preferred so we can prepare for the week.
