‼️ARREST OF A LEVY COUNTY TEACHER‼️

On January 8, 2025, LCSO Detectives arrested a teacher employed by the School Board of Levy County. Jonathan Irizarry was arrested for multiple charges after the investigation revealed that he was involved in an ongoing sexual relationship with a minor. The arrest was based on witness testimony and digital evidence.

Jonathan Irizarry is employed at Bronson Middle High School as a English and Theatre teacher. He also worked as the school “High Q” team coach. Irizarry has been employed at BMHS since 2020. Since his arrest, Irizarry has been suspended from his employment by the School Board.

Irizarry was booked into the Levy County Detention Center and will have his first court appearance on January 9, 2025. Additional charges are likely to be filed against Irizarry in the near future. None of the evidence collected has indicated there are other potential victims nor that any of the crimes occurred on the school campus.
