Throwback to PestWorld — our very first year in business with Sophie’s Pest Solutions.

We walked into that conference as a brand‑new company with big dreams… and walked out with an even bigger vision.

Being surrounded by leaders from all over the world expanded our mindset in ways we didn’t expect. It stretched our imagination, sharpened our direction, and helped us pivot into the company we were meant to become.

The conversations, the mentorship, the innovation — it all shaped how we serve, how we grow, and how we show up today.

Grateful for the rooms that challenge you, the people who inspire you, and the moments that shift your entire trajectory.

SPS was born before PestWorld… but this is where we started to become SPS.

One of the most overlooked rodent entry points we see in the Bay Area 👀

Garage door corners and worn sweeps can leave enough room for rodents to get inside.

Clean exclusion work > waiting until there’s already activity.

Rodents don’t need much — a small gap around a pipe can lead straight into the attic.

During this project, we followed an active trail, sealed the entry with wire mesh, and cleaned the droppings that keep rodents coming back.

POV: you forget the name mid-inspection and call it a carpet bee 😭

It’s actually carpenter bees—and that little pile is a warning sign 🚨

They drill into wood and create tunnels that can lead to serious damage over time.

Most homeowners don’t notice this until it’s too late… but that’s exactly why we inspect the way we do 👀
