Lawn looks great, right? But there's trouble brewing. With warmer weather and higher humidity, lawn turf disease is spreading and will cause browning and discoloration in this lawn.

Preventative measures are your best defense, including annual core aeration, watering in the morning, sharp mower blades, mowing 3+ inches and cleaning the mower deck, and preventative turf fungus control.

For your lawn and w**ds, it the temperatures, not the month. Warmer than normal temps this February means everything's coming to life and its an early start to help your lawn.

Lawn roots are active with surface temps in the 40's and the plant (the grass leaf) greens up in the 50's. And many types of w**ds are active in the same range.

If you're waiting to start until April, you'll be behind and will have issues all year.

Voles!!!! With a V for vegetarian. They stay active year round eating grass and plant roots and causing general mayhem. If you can get an owl to deal with them, great! If not, give Tee Time a try. Happy to help you get rid of them and bring back the lawn.
