This is what can happen when a pipe bursts in the ceiling of a basement bathroom.

The drywall becomes saturated and turns to mush. Water travels into adjoining rooms. Before long, a relatively small plumbing failure can become a major disruption for the homeowner.

That's what happened at this Layton home. We were able to quickly extract the water, dry the affected rooms, and get the repairs underway.

But there's a nice ending to this story: this homeowner won't just get the space back to the way it was before the loss. The finished product will actually be better than what was there before.

That's one of the things we love about restoration. We can't always prevent the disaster, but we can help make the aftermath easier.

We take seriously what a water loss does to a family and their home. Our job is to respond quickly, take care of the details, and keep the process moving so our customers can get back to normal as soon as possible.

Seeing sewage come up through your basement floor drains is never a good way to start the day.

When it happens, proper cleanup matters. Sewage contains contaminants that require more than simply removing the water. The affected area needs to be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and treated to address health and odor concerns.

On this job, you can see our process in action:

• Initial assessment
• Rotary brush cleaning
• Final wand extraction

If you have a sewage backup, we're just a call away. We'll help get the mess cleaned up safely and properly.

A leaking HVAC condensate line at this home in Ogden may seem like a small problem, but when water escapes into the home, the cleanup process involves more than simply setting up fans and dehumidifiers.

At Utah Flood Cleanup, we take the time to protect the areas of your home that are not affected by the water loss. In this project, our crew installed floor protection and carefully masked off the kitchen before beginning the drying and reconstruction process.

These steps may not be the most dramatic part of a water damage project, but they are an important part of professional workmanship. Proper protection helps prevent unnecessary damage, dust, debris, and traffic from affecting the rest of your home while the affected area is being dried and repaired.

Experience matters—not just in getting the water out, but in knowing how to protect your home throughout the entire process.

Water damage happens unexpectedly. Professional cleanup shouldn't.

You can squeegee up the water—and that’s a great start.

But what you can’t see matters just as much: inside walls, above ceilings, and under floors.

If you’ve had a water issue, don’t guess—get it checked. We’re here when you need us.

This was a water💧inspection for a customer in South Ogden.

This one hurt.

A homeowner just finished a full kitchen remodel… everything brand new.

Then the dishwasher leaked.

Not a major flood. Not obvious at first. But enough to spread under the flooring and behind the cabinets.

👉 We had to pull up LVP flooring to dry the subfloor
👉 Then remove brand new cabinets to stop hidden damage and prevent mold

All just days after the project was “done.”

This is the part people don’t see with water damage:

It’s not about how bad it looks on the surface—it’s about where the water goes.

Under floors. Behind cabinets. Into places that have to be opened up to fix it the right way.

We know how frustrating this is—especially when everything was just installed. Our job isn’t just drying out a structure, it’s helping homeowners navigate a situation they never saw coming.

But you can't just ignore it; this homeowner was so smart to call us to get some advice.

Catching it early can make all the difference.
