An update on my customers broken pipes. The end result was a thermostat that wasn't working properly in that zone and lost of electricity in the area Christmas weekend. All the broken pipes have been repaired including one of the base board heat registers. The insurance adjuster and restoration company came out yesterday. They found moisture in 2 walls and down the basement. They are taking over. Although, they were pretty shocked and happy we removed the ceiling and installation. (Or it would of cost the insurance company a lot more money). It's sad, how it all happened but at least everyone is safe.

Lesson learned: if there was no oil or electricity, the insurance company would not cover. (Power outage doesn't count) I needed to provide to adjuster their oil records, contract showing automatic delivery, and electricity records. Bottom line, greatful everything worked out for them.

My poor client is up to 4 leaks and the plumbers have to come back again tomorrow. We have now taken down the entire ceiling and all the installation.
