How to tell if you hired a good house cleaner… before they even start scrubbing. 👀
1. During the walkthrough, they use their hands as a second pair of eyes. There’s a huge difference between sticky dust and dry dust on blinds, shelves, and surfaces. Sometimes you have to feel it to know what you’re dealing with.
2. They point out dirt in corners you’ve walked past a hundred times without noticing.
3. They start moving décor or everyday items that seem to have a permanent home on a shelf. Why? Because the surface underneath tells us whether it’s actually been cleaned or just cleaned around.
4. They sit in their car for a few minutes before they begin. Nine times out of ten, we’re writing down a plan of action, prioritizing the home, and figuring out the most efficient way to tackle the job.
5. They ask, “What room in your home is your space?” Your bedroom isn’t always your safe space. Sometimes it’s your reading nook, craft room, patio, or office. Knowing where you find the most peace allows us to spend a little extra time making sure that space feels exceptional when we’re done.
A good cleaner doesn’t just wipe down a home—they assess it, create a strategy, and pay attention to the little details that most people never notice. Those small things are usually what separate a professional from someone who’s simply wiping surfaces.
❤️ If you need someone to truly care for your home, instead of just dry dusting it…
