Job Description
PAY RATE: $10.00 an hour (Approx. $200/week paid bi-weekly)

BONUSES: Employee referral fees, birthday and anniversary and performance-based bonuses

HOURS: 5 nights a week, Monday-Friday 6:00 PM-10:00 PM

JOB DUTIES:

The evening janitorial cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean environment for a Goose Creek manufacturing plant. This includes a heavy emphasis on detail work and dusting, floor cleaning using dust mops and wet mops, restroom cleaning/restocking, vacuuming, and trash removal. You should be experienced with a variety of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

· A winning attitude

· A “people” person able to work with a diverse group of people

· Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check

· Must have Reliable Transportation

· Must work well with others and be a TEAM PLAYER!

This is a temporary position lasting approximately 4 months. IFS Group is looking for a team of dedicated cleaners, who strive in high traffic industrial cleaning.

Dates: July 13th, 2020 – November 2020

Address: North Charleston, SC 29405

Shifts:

Hours: 7am-5:30pm

Days: Must be available to work any day of the week. (Swing shift)

*Must be available to work OT as needed.

Pay: $25.00/hr

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors; dusts, polishes, cleans, and moves furniture.

· Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.

· Removes trash, places in dumpsters, and replaces liners.

· Cleaning glass and desk tops

· Monitor and control supplies and amenities, while minimize waste within all areas.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, and Training:

· Adequate experience in industrial cleaning and equipment operations.

· Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

· Shipyard experience: 1 year (Preferred)

· Must be customer service oriented; polite, warm and responsive to customers, employees and supervisors.

· Team player: willing to work with co-workers to complete tasks in a timely manner.

· Possess the ability to follow written and verbal directions with minimal supervision.

· Maintain all assigned equipment, workspace and supplies.

Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Required to arrive to work on time and also work overtime hours as needed.

· Required to undergo a training program and participate in refresher training as needed.

· Required to pass pre-employment Covid-19 screening, including routine screening for preventative measures.

· PPE required at all times on the work site.

· Requires prolonged kneeling, standing, walking, twisting, climbing, and the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry in supplies up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work in varied conditions (i.e.: heat, cold, rain, etc.), inside and outside.

· Able to work in confined space, heights and operate equipment efficiently and safely.

· Must be 18 years of age.

· Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.

· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

· Must be able to pass a background investigation
