🌿 Ticks & Mosquitoes Are Active — Stay Ahead Early

As you clean up your yard, wear light-colored clothing and check yourself often. When you come inside, toss clothes straight into the dryer on high heat (before washing) to kill any hidden ticks.

Check your body, kids, and pets — especially under arms, behind knees, and around the waistline.

Now’s also the time to start thinking about your yard as an ecosystem:
• Keep grass short
• Remove standing water (mosquito breeding zones)
• Keep pollinator areas away from wooded edges & water so we can treat effectively while protecting beneficial insects.

We focus on treating the areas where ticks and mosquitoes live — like wood lines, brush, and leaf litter — so you don’t have to.

🌱 Want a mosquito and tick-free zone without disrupting your yard’s ecosystem? We’ve got you. Call today early prevention is a must. Stay tuned for more tips on setting up your yard for optimal eco-zones.

On this World Book Day, we'd like to recommend a book that showcases intriguing facts about bugs, including ticks being studied for cancer treatment. This book offers a wealth of knowledge that's enjoyable for both kids and adults, demonstrating how every insect plays a vital role in our ecosystem. Our copy was sourced from An Unlikely Story .While mosquitoes and ticks may have future potential, they remain on our 'Not in My Yard!' list. If you share our sentiment, give us a call at 508-695-2894 and we'll help you remove them from your yard and promote beneficial bugs, bats, amphibians to serve as natural first line defense! 🐦‍⬛🐸🦇

🚧 Turtle Crossing Alert! 🚧
Huge shoutout to our tech Drew, who went above and beyond today—not just for our customers, but for this determined little traveler! 🐢✨
Did you know it’s Turtle Crossing Season? These slow and steady wanderers are on a mission, heading back to their nesting areas for their babies. If you spot one crossing the road, be kind and give them a hand (in the direction they’re headed!).
Remember: Speeding past a turtle makes YOU the slow one… when it comes to compassion. 😉
Drive safe, and let’s keep our local turtles thriving! 🛣️

Spotted at CVS today. If you were a parent or the child of a parent during the 80's this photo will either trigger you with sweet nostalgia or 80sPTSD. Every Mom in America doused their family with SSS in the 80's. 80's kids, can you smell this photo? haha. It's a lot more expensive these days.. Bonus points if you know what movie the other photo is from!!!

Released from National Pest Management is the Public Health Pest Index forecast for this year. Ticks are extremely active already and are predicted to be explosively populated for Mass and RI this season. I personally have experienced the shocking arrival after a walk on a well cut nature preserve in Mattapoisett last week. I brushed off 4 ticks from the 10 min walk from my pant leg. Luckily dressed appropriately and with immediate inspection they were quickly evicted, but it shows the volume as to how active they currently are. Get on schedule now to start controlling ticks in your yard and always check yourself, kids and pets after time outdoors. Nature is meant to be enjoyed especially in your own yard, but it's important to respect we are often in the habitat of insects and precautions are vital. Call us today 508-695-2894 and secure your spot and savings on tick control this season.
