Call on Me, Inc. would like to take this time to thank everyone we have worked with this year and hope that all of you have a wonderful holiday season! 2025 is on its way and we are here to help any of you that may need help with a loved one. We will help to keep anyone as independent as possible. We help run errands, get to and from doctor appointments, help prep and prepare meals, assist with daily hygiene, along with many other everyday living tasks.

Making the decision to put a loved one in a facility is one of the hardest decisions I have been a part of or watched others make. Just to let everyone know that if the time has come to move your loved one from their home to a facility then you are making that decision with their best interest at heart. I have to say that the people that I have been fortunate to work with and watch make this decision have done so with love and heartache. They have respect and kindness for their loved one and know that this step in life is a hard one to make but a necessary one. I wish for anyone that is going through this process that you find a peace that you can live with and know you have done your best.

I know today may be a tough one with more rain coming. Changes in weather sometimes makes dealing with a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s even more difficult. This is just a reminder to breath in and out and know that the sun will shine again. Patience is truly a virtue at these times. There are days that come along where caregivers need to slow down and let the person with the disease just go through their moment. Any debilitating disease is frustrating to all involved and sometimes walking through it at the speed of the one affected is just the way it has to be. Enjoy the day and try to see a smile in the little things today. You are not alone. If any of you need to vent or just simply want to put the day in words, know that you may do so here.

We work with families and loved ones that would like to stay in their homes as long as possible that are faced with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s or any illness or disability that may make day to day living difficult.
