Looking forward to the move and all in store for 2025!!!

2024 was quite the year! And in true Simmer Down fashion we’re making sure 2025 is full of fun, renovations (for real, again 😳), maybe a painted floor (if you know, you know) and some exciting new things!

If you haven’t already heard, we recently purchased a new location in Norfolk. We won’t be moving for a while, but we wanted to let everyone know the correct information, as we have learned scuttlebutt in bigger communities is just as (ahem) reliable as it is in small towns 😉

Simmer Down will be in the space that was the former dry cleaners. We are looking forward to having a DRIVE THRU window!!!

The dry cleaner will NOT be reopening at this location. We WILL continue our relationship with Quality Dry Cleaners of Fremont and be a pick up and drop off location, especially after the move to the new location.

If you’re not familiar with the new location, it’s on Riverside Blvd. just north of the High School.

Check back for updates and exact moving date (likely after Easter 2025)

We will see you back at all locations on Tuesday 12/31. Closed New Years Day and back Thursday 01/02 with a new Fresh in the Fridge menu and Steak Sandwiches in West Point for lunch!

Announcement of Norfolk location and start date:

We will be located at 2116 Market Ln in Norfolk. We will be partnering with Simmer Down Take-n-Bake kitchen. We have been partnering with their location in West Point for several months and providing service to those in the West Point area and have decided to do the same in Norfolk.
We will begin taking in dry cleaning this Saturday May 25th from 10-3.
The current hours are:
Tuesday- Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-3
So when you drop off or pick up dry cleaning or shirt laundry you can grab a quick individual lunch or meal for the family!!!
