I can't express my gratuity enough. Over the past nearly four years of being in business, I've been blessed to witness many changes in your lives.

Career changes. Whether it was a retirement, leaving one jobs and transferring to another, executing Permanent Change of Station, and many more. You all sharing your stories and providing me an opportunity to share mine have been wonderful and enlightening.

Family dynamics changes. Kids have moved from elementary to middle school and some from middle school to high school. Those that graduated from high school moved on to college, the work force, the military or other endeavors. Some relationships have seen significant change, good, bad, or indifferent. Nonetheless, you allowed me to celebrate and be a part of those milestones and for that I am grateful.

I can still remember details of many of the stories shared. Sometimes there was laughter and other times tears but always closure with a good laugh and a path forward.

Detailing is more than just cleaning cars. It's more than taking a brush to the cracks and crevices of a vehicle to ensure it presents its best.

Behind every detail at Sandman's Auto Detailing, there is a story to be told. Am I grateful and thankful to be on the receiving end of them.

This Mother’s Day, we offered a special detailing package, and the response from our community was incredible.

During these appointments, I had meaningful conversations with several customers, and two stories especially stayed with me. Two mothers from different parts of Hampton Roads, with different backgrounds, yet so many similarities.

Both names started and ended with the letter “A.” Both were military spouses. Both were actively involved in activities that enrich the lives of others. Both drove Honda SUVs. Most importantly, both are raising children with autism.

After completing their details today, I decided to donate 100% of the proceeds from these two appointments to support families in our local community.

Today, we proudly made a donation to Families of Autism Coming Together (F.A.C.T.), an autism resource center serving families throughout Hampton Roads.

Thank you to these incredible mothers for allowing us to be part of your story, and thank you to everyone who continues to support our business and our community.
