We always have dumdums at the Customer Care Center. Come grab one or more. Sometimes we hand out drinks to our little customers…they are the cutest people!

Classic 1960s vacuum made by Kirby

A wonderful customer dropped by with his vintage vacuum from the 60s. Stills works like Day 1 and kept in mint condition! 🤩 Tested this bad boy on our dirty mat. Vacuums made today are with plastic compared to metal or aluminum in the old days.

How often do you vacuum your mats? We vacuum (and sweep) daily but it’s never enough. Appearance matters since customers judge a laundromat not just on looks but cleanliness too.

Wash & Fold - Preference vs. Professional

Criteria for folding varies by individuals, communities and people. There is no right or wrong way. Spend the time and eventually, the technique becomes better over time. It is experience and material knowledge. Anyone can become a professional!

Washer Wipe Down Day!!

Scented beads = Pain point‼️

Customers believe beads are like dryer sheets..sprinkle a bunch into the dryer with clothes.

The beads melt into the lint trays causing air flow disruptions. This means a possible fire hazard and damage to the dryers and lint trays. Let’s make sure to put them in the drum of washers with warm or hot water. Oddly, beads do not dissolve easily in cold water, especially if clothes in the machine are over loaded. Beads also do not go in the soap dispenser trays of washers.

Ask us questions if you don’t know. We will let you know the Dos and Don’ts in the laundromat.

Stress is REAL‼️

Only in October is when Jade and Pearl come out to enjoy some “Girl Talk”. There has to be “ME” time built into your schedule. It doesn’t matter if that means “alone” driving in your car, shopping for groceries or even doing laundry. Just take a mental break.

We are HERE for you! Drop those dirty laundry off and get your “ME” time rolling! Better yet - look into our pick up and delivery service to get more time back!!

Bathroom topic

Is there a difference between the Women and Men bathrooms? Nope. None. Zero. Same layout in both.

But let’s talk about it…why do people trash laundromat bathrooms? Each customer should help maintain it for the next one as part of courtesy.

For us, we try to stay on top but there are busy parts of the day that may prevent us from making regular bathroom rounds. If the bathroom requires cleaning, kindly inform us so we can tidy it up. We want the bathrooms clean just as much as you do!

Who uses a scent product to deodorize smells? And what products do you use for cleaning the bathrooms?
