Retiring from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Punta Gorda, Florida left us pretty naive on SW Florida home maintenance matters such as pest control, pool care, palm tree maintenance / fertilization, etc. We have been willing to pay more for the piece of mind of the job being done right. We researched prior to hiring and observe their technicians perform their services. We have learned that though each provider wants to be considered a leader in their field, it comes down to their technician. Do these individuals have the knowledge, skills and desire to handle our issues? In the case of Good News Pest Solutions I would place them at the top of all of our service providers and we are fortunate to have Joshua as our technician. As a company, Good News is responsive, preventative, and professional in handling our various pest requirements. Their administrative personnel are wonderful to call, but what I feel sets Good News truly apart is Ron. He walks us around our home to explain what services were performed and why, and then goes the extra step in explaining contributing environmental factors that fall under the purview of our landscaping service providers. Good News provides a comprehensive program on pest prevention and control that recognizes all contributing factors around our home. There are plenty of providers that simply spray some poison on your property to eliminate pests temporarily, but Good News and in particular our technician Ron prevents them from becoming an issue.
