This month, we're celebrating Ryan's 10-year with ServiceMaster by Zaba!

Ryan started working part-time as a restoration technician, but after graduating from UIC with a business degree, he became a Project Manager at our company.

Today, Ryan manages water, fire, mold, and other property damage restoration projects throughout Niles, Chicago, and surrounding neighborhoods.

You may also recognize Ryan from our YouTube videos, where he walks viewers through real restoration jobs we've completed.

Earlier this month, a Skokie homeowner called us after water from an upstairs bathroom leaked through the ceiling into the room below.

Our team arrived the same day and inspected the ceiling to check how far the water had spread. Before opening the wet ceiling, we covered the walls and surrounding area with plastic to protect the room from drywall dust and debris.

We also removed the damaged ceiling drywall so we could reach the wet area above and inspect the exposed framing for moisture.

After opening the ceiling, our team placed drying equipment near the exposed area to dry the wet materials before the ceiling could be repaired.

Last month, one water heater leak damaged four rooms in a Des Plaines home...

In our new YouTube video, a ServiceMaster by Zaba project manager walks through a Des Plaines home after a failed water heater released an estimated 30-40 gallons of water into the utility room.

Watch the video to see how our team removed damaged flooring and drywall, set up drying equipment, and stabilized the home before continuing the restoration.

Earlier this month, a Niles homeowner called us after a slow leak from a plumbing line inside the wall soaked the drywall in a utility area.

Since the leak happened behind the wall, our technician needed to open the damaged area to reach the wet materials inside.

We removed the trim and cut out the wet section of drywall to expose the wood framing behind it.

After opening the wall, our technician checked the framing for moisture and set up drying equipment to dry the wet wood before the wall could be repaired.
