POV: You start a business with your best friend and suddenly you’re on the phone with each other ALL. DAY. LONG. 😂📱
Our conversations basically sound like:
“Did you send that estimate?”
“Wait, which client?”
“Did you answer her?”
“No… I thought you did.”
“Okay, what cleaners do we have tomorrow?”
“Wait, I need to move someone around.”
“Did payroll get done?”
“Hold on, one of the girls has a question.”
“Where are you?”
“Driving to an estimate.”
“Which one?”
“I don’t know. 😂”
And then there’s the driving. 😂
We spend what feels like half our lives driving all over God’s creation to walk through homes for estimates, only to get back in the car and immediately call each other to talk about the estimate we JUST walked through together. 🤣
Between scheduling our cleaners, answering their questions, doing payroll, writing estimates, answering current clients, responding to potential clients, coordinating schedules, solving problems, fixing mistakes, and driving all over the place for walkthroughs…
we somehow also have 10 kids between the two of us.
TEN. 😂
So yes, sometimes we talk in circles. Sometimes we forget what we were saying mid-sentence. Sometimes we send each other screenshots because neither of us remembers the conversation we literally just had. Sometimes one of us is trying to handle a business emergency while simultaneously dealing with mom life in the background.
And sometimes we have absolutely NO idea what day it is. 😂
But somehow… we make it work.
We started this business together as best friends, and watching it grow has been one of the coolest—and craziest—things we’ve ever done.
It isn’t always organized. It definitely isn’t always glamorous. And it sure as hell isn’t boring. 😂
But we push each other, cover for each other, figure things out together, celebrate the wins together, and panic over the problems together.
Two hot mess moms.
10 kids.
A whole team of cleaners.
A million estimates, clients, schedules, questions and payrolls.
Countless miles on the road.
And approximately ZERO brain cells left by the end of the day. 😂
Wouldn’t want to build this crazy business with anyone else. ❤️🧹
