A little bit of shine for your Saturday morning ✨
🚨 STOP! That “quick wipe” may not be disinfecting your countertops at all. 🚨
A clean-looking surface isn’t always a truly disinfected surface. Here’s how to do it correctly 👇
🧽 STEP 1: CLEAN THE MESS
Remove crumbs, grease, dirt and debris with a cleaner that’s safe for your countertop material. Disinfectant works best on a clean surface.
🦠 STEP 2: CHOOSE THE RIGHT PRODUCT
Use a disinfectant approved for the specific surface you’re cleaning. The wrong product can damage your countertop—or fail to disinfect properly.
⏱️ STEP 3: KEEP IT WET
Don’t spray and wipe immediately! Leave the surface visibly wet for the full contact time listed on the product label. That’s when the disinfectant does its job.
✨ STEP 4: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS
Check the label for dilution, contact time and whether the surface needs to be wiped or rinsed afterward.
🚫 NEVER MIX CLEANING CHEMICALS.
At Clean the Scene Cleaning Services LLC, we don’t just make countertops look clean—we focus on the details that help create a healthier space. 🖤💛
Because cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are not the same thing!
💬 Be honest: Have you ever wiped away disinfectant before the contact time was up?
