1. Bonds to your paint creating a long term protective layer. Protection comes from it's chemical and UV resistance, as well as its hydrophobic qualities.
2. At the very minimum, the duration of the warranty. I can confidently say this having installed Opti Coat since 2019.
3. With a simple rinseless wash method (which we can teach you), or your preferred hand wash method. Avoid automatic cloth car washes at all costs. Touchless automatic washes work well in a pinch.
4. The unique chemistry. There are a lot of different coatings out there, but only one is Silica Carbide based. This is industrial diamond, and it was developed before any other coating hit the market, being refined ever since.
5. Absolutely! The benefits of a ceramic coating are for everyone, and with our 2, 5, and 7 year offerings we have an option for every situation.

As a car enthusiast, let me tell you some things I love about installing Opti Coat ceramic coatings. It is one of the best possible ways to protect the finish of a modern clear coated vehicle. That means that my own vehicles, and others that have this coating installed will age like fine wine in a way their non-coated counterparts will not, maintaining more value. The very finite amount of clearcoat cannot survive being polished too many times. Only so many swirl marks can be removed before the clearcoat is gone. Properly maintained ceramic coated vehicles will not see new swirl marks introduced during the washing and drying process (which is where this type of damage can come from). This gives me a ton of satisfaction knowing I am helping people maintain something they love, and that these cars will be better for it down the road.
