A water main break on Hollands Landing Road is interrupting service to The Pointes, Stewart Landing, Circle H Woods, and Hollands Landing area. Customers may experience little to no water pressure for the next several hours. Crews are working to restore service as soon as possible.

The water main on Macedonia Church Road has been repaired. Crews are currently flushing lines. Flushing works to provide clean, chlorinated water. Most areas should see water within 1 to 1.5 hours. Pressure may be low. Milky water indicates air in the water. This is not harmful and should clear quickly. If you have dirty water, flush your house plumbing. If the problem continues, please notify NCWSA.

Customers in the vicinity of Hollands Landing, Macedonia Church, and Dreher Island State Park have little to no water pressure due to a water main break on Macedonia Church Road.. A crew is on site working to restore service.

Water service will be interrupted today from 8 AM until 5 PM for repair and upgrade of the water main serving the following areas:
Ira Kinard Road
Seagull Lane
Woodside Shores
Blacksgate East

The Board of Directors and staff of Newberry County Water and Sewer Authority are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Anthony Holloman. Our prayers and condolences go out to the family, friends, and co-workers affected by this tragic event. The accident occurred during installation of a new water main by Wiley Easton Construction Co., Inc. An investigation of the accident is being conducted by the appropriate authorities.

NCWSA crews are working to maintain potable water service.
Critical treatmemt facilities are currently operating on standby generators. Some areas will have low pressure. If you have no water service at all, or see signs of a water main leak, please call NCWSA at 803-276-7020. If no one answers, please leave a message with your name, phone number, and service address. NCWSA asks all customers to conserve water whenever possible.

NOTICE OF SERVICE INTERRUPTION
On Wednesday, May 8th, NCWSA will interrupt water service to make a fire line connection on Jollystreet Road. Service will be interrupted from 8:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM. The following areas will experience little to no water pressure during this time: Jollystreet Road from US Hwy 76 to Shrine Club Road including Morningside Drive, and Lynn Lane.
