Did you know average weight gain between Thanksgiving and New Years (in the US) is anywhere between one and seven pounds?
Here are some steps to surviving the holidays:
1. Make time to work out! It is especially important now.
2. Track your calories, use an app like MyFitnessPal. It helps put binging into perspective
3. Don't starve yourself. Eat healthy snacks throughout the day.
4. Choose light Drinks! Skip on the cocoa, baileys, and eggnog. Choose vodka-soda instead, and sip on water in between drinks.
5. Portion control! Don't deprive yourself, eat what you want, but remember to keep your portions small.
