Tip of the day:

No need for bleach, get your toilet sparkling white with a homemade non-toxic bathroom cleaner. For a spotless toilet, mix together half a cup of vinegar and a spoonful of baking soda. Pour the mixture into the toilet bowl and let sit for about 30 minutes before scrubbing. Repeat once a week.

Tough on easy off tip:

Battle soap scum with baking-soda paste!
By mixing baking soda and all-natural dish soap, you can create an amazing scum-busting paste. The paste works wonders at removing soap scum from shower doors, as well as hard water and rust stains on ceramic tile. Use a sponge or cloth to rub the paste into the surface until stains are gone, then wipe clean with warm water. To tackle stains on the grout, scrub the area with a toothbrush using the same paste. The paste can be somewhat abrasive, so use sparingly on delicate surfaces.

Effective wood polish recipe that would be a great salad dressing as well: mix 2 parts olive oil with 1 part lemon juice and apply it to your furniture using a soft cloth. Gives your wood furniture a nice smell and a sparkling shine.

TOUGH ON EASY OFF TIP:

Hot serving dish or glass of water has marred the surface of your wood table, you can quickly get rid of the mark by making a thin paste of salad oil or lemon oil and salt. Wipe the paste on, then lightly buff the area as you wipe it off with a soft cloth.

Between work, classes, or even hustling the kids back and forth to their classes and extra curricular activities what time do you have to clean? After 14 years in retail 5 in upper management I found my self dwelling in a habitat short of an environmental hazard zone. With nothing but time on my hands I did what I do best when my minds a mess... I cleaned house.
My husband joined in and four hours later our 2 bedroom apartment looked like new.
