Damon Bailey might be a pain in the butt (mean that with nothing but love) but Damon could be down to his last pennies and would still give you the shirt off his back! I have known Damon since I was about 12yrs old; I have watched Damon go through the lowest of lows and highest of highs. I'll never forget the day he introduced me to the woman who would become my life long best friend, BeccaLee Bailey and the smile on his/ their faces when they found out they were having their first baby, then second, then third (seemed like they were all within like 3 days of one another lol) bringing their total of his, mine, and ours to 5 kids!! 🤯
With their youngest, bring dx with Rett Syndrome needing 24/7 care Becca has been forced to be a stay at home mom making Damon the sole provider for their family. As many know, either personally or from seeing loved one deal with it, there are many financial struggles to having a disabled child; with Madi turning 20, Becca and Damon were finally out from under the government income restrictions and able to begin the path to getting a home that is suitable for their family when cancer struck. Even with the dx Damon still gets up every morning and puts in the long hours at work; doing this is not giving Damon's body the rest it needs to be able to fight this as he is determined to get this home for his family and be able to provide for them without any burden on Becca. On top of trying to make sure they have suitable for them, they are also facing the financial burden of high co-pays and medical bills.
If you are able to give anything at all there is no amount too small (or big) to be able to help this family that has NEVER used their situation to ask for any handouts and quite honestly still wouldn't be asking if we weren't asking for them!
