Sunday towel tip: towels not soaking up water like they used to? 🧺

Fabric softener and dryer sheets can leave a coating that reduces towel absorbency. Try skipping them on your next towel load, and follow the care label for washing and drying.

Save this for the next time the towel pile fills up.

One basket doesn’t always mean one set of care instructions. 🏷️

Before your next load, check each garment’s washing and drying label. Set aside anything that needs different care instead of choosing one cycle for everything.

The care label gets the final say—even when the laundry pile has other ideas.

Our illustrated detective is on the case. No leads yet—just a very suspicious fitted sheet.

Microfiber cloths picking up lint? 🧺

Wash cleaning cloths separately from fluffy cotton towels, and follow the cloth’s care label for drying. For microfiber cleaning cloths, Whirlpool also recommends skipping fabric softener because it can coat the fibers and reduce cleaning performance.

Save this for your next cleaning-cloth load.
