This is a page detailing a few things about a book series I've been writing for roughly 10+ years now, simply titled Mirage. I'm going to stay away from too many plot-related spoilers but I just wanted to put out a place where people could find a few more details about the world I'm building and what is actually going on in it. Part 1 of Character intro pages:
This is where it all started, John Cross, the boy that spawned this entire series borne out of my desire to see people help one another. Beginning the story just as he turns 14, we follow John's life until roughly his mid 30s or 40s and watch as he grows and utilizes the mystical power of Light.

He's a straightforward boy from a hidden city, quarantined and forgotten in this world I've created and tempered during his escape of said city by difficulty at every turn.

While John does have supernatural powers that augment his physical and mental abilities, his real strength is in his creativity in using them and his willingness to always be willing to try something new in the middle of a battle, though this has also caused its fair share of harm as well.

I'm trying to avoid saying too much outside of what I've already said in past posts to make sure I don't give too much away from the story outside of maybe the first few chapters but most synopses on the back of a book usually spoil the first third of it anyway.

I know I'm sending a lot of invites, I'm just throwing a wide net to just the friends I know would be interested in learning more about Mirage and the world I've been building for so long. However, I'm also trying to keep much of this under wraps so this is a fairly exclusive group all things considered.

A thought that I can use this page for could be brief introductions to characters or places from the series just for me to throw them out there and see what people think. Might try that out sometime when it's not 2 am.

Still one of my all time favorite pieces I drew based on one of my favorite Jojo's Bizarre Adventure covers depicting John and Amanda walking forward from the setting of the beginning of the series in the fictional city of Ironwood, Tennessee to it's eventual end in the city of Eterna where the Mirage Order is located.

This is a place I'm setting up to focus more on the up-and-coming book series I've been writing for upwards of 10 years now. I'll be making a few posts of drawings, maybe bounce ideas off folk. I can't make promises that I'll be always uploading items as it's rare enough for me to post on Facebook outside of my daily jokes, but I'll try to throw a bone now and again.
