Hello everyone. Monocacy Pest Control, based out of New Windsor/Westminster area and I am looking to hire a part time technician to work with me in the field this summer. I only need the tech from Apr-Nov. Work will be 20-30 hrs a week. I need someone who has a valid driver's license (I will ask to provide a recent driving record from the MVA), MUST be 18 yrs of age per the Dept of Ag policies, not afraid of step ladders and looking into attics, not afraid of rodents, insects or stinging insects. Once you're trained and I think you are ready to go on your own, you will be given pest control work, will come to my house to pick up the truck and go do the pest control work given to you on a tablet.
This is a great job for retirees that are looking to work part time, especially military, retired police, fire dept or a college student. I am coming into my busy season in the middle of March and will need help.

Effective Friday Jan 9th, 2026, Monocacy Pest Control has hired a call center. It is easier now, since I don't have a csr anymore. They are not doing any scheduling, just taking messages and I will return the calls on that business day or the next. Thank you for understanding. This was a tough decision to make.

Usually I'm singing a song Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. Yesterday it was Lionel Richie, Oh what a feeling, I'm Dancin on the Ceiling. I service 4 Domino's Pizza stores in Frederick and Urbana. I just picked up 9 MORE stores by the same franchisee. New Market, Mt. Airy, Damascus, Eldersburg, Westminster, Hampstead, Burtonsville, Rockville and Potomac. I start servicing 4 stores this month and all 9 next month. They have to give Terminix 30 days notice. I'm now working on their PA stores. Glenn Krout you'd better get ready for work. I called my truck salesman yesterday. He's researching your truck.

Monocacy Pest Control LLC has upgraded our termite skid sprayer rig from 55 gallons in May 2018 to 200 gallons in Feb 2022, a bigger tank, pump and more hose for long distance treatments. This will save time and cost of filling up the smaller tank and be able to be more productive in treatments. Had to do some rearranging to make it work with all the other equipment. We're ready for the spring/summer.

Want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and want to thank all my existing and new customers who called us for their pest issues. Monocacy Pest Control is growing and looking to hire a part time experienced technician for 2022.
