After severe flooding forced many New London residents out of their homes, L.A.D.S, a local restoration company, is volunteering its time to help restore a severely damaged home.

We’re incredibly humbled by this 💙

What began as a simple desire to help someone in our community after the flooding has turned into something far bigger than we ever expected.

We’re grateful this story is helping shine a light on the real needs families in our area are facing right now — and even more grateful for the kindness, prayers, encouragement, and support that have come from our community through it all.

This was never about attention for us. The glory belongs to God always. We simply wanted to be a blessing where we could and trust Him with the rest.

Thank you to everyone who has shared, reached out, nominated families, volunteered, or supported this effort in any way. Your kindness has been overwhelming.

We’ve also had people ask how they can help further. If anyone feels led to donate time, labor, materials, or other support to help this family continue rebuilding, please feel free to reach out to us privately.

💙 New London — Work Has Begun

We had the honor of reading through so many nominations from our community. The stories shared with us were incredibly moving, and we carry them with us.

We have now begun work on the home we selected.

🙏 While we are keeping details private out of respect for the family, we can share this — your nominations are making a real difference.

Right now, our team is on-site working as of yesterday to make this home safe, clean, and healthy again.

This is why we do what we do.

💙 New London — Thank You

Over the past few days, we’ve received a number of nominations… and we want to take a moment to say how deeply moved we are by the stories that were shared with us.

There are so many people in our community facing real challenges right now.

After careful consideration and prayer, we have selected a household to receive FREE water damage and mold remediation.

🙏 Out of respect for their privacy and dignity, we will not be sharing their name or personal details right now — but please know this decision was not easy.

To everyone who submitted a nomination… thank you.
Every story mattered to us more than you know.

We truly wish we could help every family that was brought to our attention. As a small business, we’re doing what we can — and we hope this is just the beginning of more ways we can serve our community.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to share a story with us over the past week.

The response has been overwhelming in the most humbling way. We have read through messages that truly touched our hearts… and it has not been easy.

At this time, we will be closing nominations as we begin the process of reviewing and making our final decision.

Over the past few days, we’ve received several messages… and we’ve been truly humbled by the stories shared with us.

There are so many people quietly going through difficult situations right now.

As we prepare to make a decision, we wanted to give one last opportunity:

🙏 If you know someone who is dealing with water damage or mold and has little to no resources to fix it — please send us a message.

We will be selecting one household to receive FREE water damage and/or mold remediation to help make their home safe and healthy again.

Since sharing yesterday, we’ve already received a few nominations… and honestly, the stories have been incredibly moving.

We know there are still people out there who are quietly struggling — families dealing with water/sewer damage, mold, and uncertainty… without the resources to fix it.

🙏 We’re asking again:
If someone comes to mind, please don’t ignore that feeling.

We are looking to bless one family with FREE water/sewer damage and/or mold remediation to help make their home safe and healthy again.

We truly wish we could help multiple families through this… and if it were possible, we would in a heartbeat. But as a small, family-run business, we pour a significant amount of time, resources, and heart into every project — so at this time, we may only be able to take on one home in New London at no cost...but, we are also providing discounted rates to others affected by flooding (see yesterday's post).

To protect privacy and dignity, we ask that all nominations be sent privately through direct message to our page.

This isn’t about business — it’s about being the hands and feet when our neighbors need it most.
