This year consider making the upgrade to a Salt Water Generator. Not only will your chemical costs be alot lower but you will have a much easier time keeping your pool sanitized. Your chlorine is a lot less harsh on the skin and eyes with out the extreme preservatives used in dry chlorine.

This pool was not filtering efficiently with the outdated sand filter. The heat pump also shattered inside in a unfortunately unrepairable location because of the lack of proper winterization. The end result was a brand new filter and heater that will keep this pool clear and warm for many years to come. We also repaired the retaining wall adjacent to this pool after the entire thing collapsed due to poor construction. With the great discounts we gave our client on the package deal, we are sure to have a client for life :)

This is the finished product of the skimmer installation in our previous post. Very great job by PMJ Paving on the pavers. With the misting system installed on this deck and brand new water slide, some lucky children will be having a great summer!

GPS Tip of the day:

This tip is from a recent repair we completed for a very common problem. The skimmers on this pool were not getting good suction if at all, which is a very common problem when pools have been plumbed with PVC flex tubing. It is very typical for the skimmer lines to kink underground or collapse. On this pool the skimmers both pulled away from the main shell due to lack of rebar tying in the main shell. We replaced these skimmers with new ones guaranteed to last for many decades. Next we plumbed them down an extra 16 inches to prevent any remaining water from cracking above the frostline.

GPS Tip of the day:

Accidents happen, a very common one is getting your cellular devices wet. Even worse dropping your phone directly into a pool like our technicians unfortunately occasionally do. The minute your phone gets wet rip out the battery and SIM card or Micro SD and throw everything Into a bag filled with rice. Make sure the bag is sealed and the rice will suck the moisture out of your device. Wait at least a day or two to make sure all moisture is extracted so there is no risk of frying any circuits. This tip has helped our pool staff multiple times and it will work for you too.
