One of our longest and favorite customers gutters illustrates one of the issues with gutters guards. They have their purpose and can be helpful but do not listen to a single person who tells you " you'll never have to clean your gutters again," or "That they are maintenance free." We are hired to clear these twice a year.
If you really never want to have to give a gutter cleaner a call or clean your own gutters I highly recommend gutter shutters other than that you'll be regularly cleaning the guards or screens.
