This message comes to you with great sadness on my part. I have to have back surgery and might have a long recovery. Instead of letting customers wait a long time to receive their quilts, I have decided to retire from my business. I want to thank all of you who entrusted me with your quilt tops and allowed me the privilege of quilting them for over 8 years. I will miss seeing all the beautiful work that you brought to me along with seeing each of your smiling faces sometimes on a regular basis. My retirement isn’t going to be a lack of stuff to keep me busy. I’m looking forward to still making Charity Quilts to be donated & dog beds for pet rescues when my back is healed & are hopefully able to get around better. Please understand that this decision was not an easy one, but God has a different plan for me than I had for myself.

Hello, to all my Customers out there. I have a need to clarify something with all of you. Remember as a child playing the memory game that started With one child saying something and was repeated to the next in line of a bunch of kids? Remember how it was never the same as it got to the last child? Well that happens with adults today also! I am Not closing my business, I am simply going to work less days of the week hopefully starting in March. If you are concerned and need more information, please feel free to contact me.

This is what 132 random cuts of fabric looks like when you pair them up into 33-4 yard packets to be made into charity quilts. Is so great to have a purpose and use for all these fabrics in my stash!

I finished 14 quilts this month. 2 for myself, 10 were donated for Charity and 2 to keep for gift giving. The 1st one was made with a Tim Holz jelly roll. I backed it with Minky & quilted it with a clock & number panto. The picture shows how cool the stitching shows up on Minky. All the Charity quilts were made from using up all my
2 1/2” random strips in my stash. Happy Quilting everyone!

I made a few Quilts this Past month. 1 for my son, husband, a friend, myself, for gifting and 4 for charity. Using up the fabric in my stash!

It’s that time again to drop off all your quilts tops for quilting in time for holiday gifting. Turn around time is currently at about 3 weeks. I would love to see you before the holidays.

I don’t feel like I’ve sewed much this winter, but I did put together 7 quilts. 1 for a Granddaughter, another with fabrics from a customer, 1 received as a Christmas gift kit, 3 for Charity donations and another I’m not sure what I’m doing with yet! Happy Quilting!

I got home before noon today from my retreat and had time to quilt the 3 table runners I pieced on retreat. I love them in our new decor we did last year.

Had a great weekend at Primitive Gatherings Retreat center. This was the view when I entered the building. Good food, lots of laughter, Great friends!

I’m washing a quilt I finished this week to see how a new cotton batting reacts after washing. Where did all the suds come from? I didn’t add any soap!
