Nellie Melo started working for my father at Ronnie Manufacturing before Darn It! existed.
When my dad's factory shut down, she came to work for me. That was 1996.
Forty years across the two companies. Thirty of them here.
She was working on the floor when this place was a fraction of the size it is now. She's seen every version of this business there is — every shipment that showed up wrong, early, or damaged, and every Friday deadline we somehow still hit.
People talk about culture like it's something you put on a wall. It isn't. It's who's still there after forty years, still doing the work, still caring whether it comes out right.
Thirty years in business this year. A company is really just the people who keep showing up.
Thank you doesn't cover it, Nellie. But thank you.
