If you're choosing between Kamikaze coatings, ISM Coat 3.0 makes the most sense when ease of application and a forgiving wipe off are priorities.

ISM is a good choice when you want:
• A coating that is approachable for a first time installer
• A longer, more forgiving wipe off window
• Deep gloss and Kamikaze clarity
• Strong hydrophobic and self cleaning behavior
• A coating that works well by itself
• The flexibility to use it as the top layer in a Kamikaze system

A common Kamikaze system is Miyabi as the base, ISM as the top coating, followed by Overcoat for maintenance. ISM does not necessarily replace the other coatings. Its role depends on the system you're building and the characteristics you want from the finished coating.

For ESOTERIC, that's the important part of choosing a coating: there isn't one answer for every vehicle or installer. We use different products because different applications call for different solutions. Our relationship with Kamikaze goes back to 2013, when ESOTERIC became its first distributor outside Japan.
