The best-looking grass on your neighbor’s lawn might be the WRONG grass for yours.

Bermuda loves plenty of sun, grows aggressively, and recovers quickly from wear and damage. Zoysia grows more slowly, creates a thick, dense lawn, and can tolerate some shade better than Bermuda.

Both can be great choices for North Mississippi lawns. The key is choosing the one that fits your sunlight, yard conditions, and maintenance expectations.

Not sure which grass is right for your lawn? Lawn & Pest Solutions can help you figure it out.

Think of pest control like a force field around your home.

Our pest control program helps create a protective barrier designed to stop unwanted pests before they make themselves at home. With regular inspections and treatments, you get proactive protection without having to wait until bugs become a bigger problem.

Because the best pest problem is the one that never makes it inside.

The truth? That's one of the biggest lawn care myths.

Even if crabgrass and other w**ds have already taken over, you still have options. The key is knowing which treatment works now and which one you'll need next season.

“Eh, the grass will fill back in.”

Famous last words. Because while some bare spots will eventually fill back in, others can hang around like an unwanted houseguest.

It all depends on your grass and what caused the damage in the first place. So if that bare spot isn’t budging, your lawn might be trying to tell you something.

Not sure what it is? We can help.

Your plants can’t tell you what hurts, but they’re definitely trying.

The hard part is that the same warning signs can point to very different problems. When your trees and shrubs start looking “off,” guessing at the cause can sometimes do more harm than good, which is where an experienced eye can make all the difference.

Swipe through to meet 3 patients in the Plant Doctor’s office and see what their symptoms could be telling you.

Your watering routine could be working against your plants.

Healthy trees and shrubs need water in the right place and at the right time. Focus water around the root zone instead of the leaves, and water in the morning to help reduce moisture loss.

And if your plants are still turning brown? Don’t automatically reach for the hose. Insects, disease, or other plant health issues could be the real cause.

See what’s stressing your plants and what to do about it.
