Sometimes you have to get on the bugs’ level.

It’s a strange (and pretty gross) world down there.

These are a couple of the more interesting pictures I’ve taken over the last month. They give you a close-up look into the environments these pests live in.

The first photo shows bed bugs hiding in the seam of a recliner, surrounded by eggs, hatched eggs and shed skins.

The second shows something you rarely get to catch and photograph: a group of freshly hatched cockroaches. I found these at a pre-service inspection of an account we recently took over from one of the two largest pest control companies in the world.

We just added heater #3 to the fleet!

This addition will allow us to handle larger jobs more efficiently and reduce wait times for bed bug treatments.

We serviced a home for ants today where the customer kept seeing activity in the same spot inside the house.
After inspecting the area, we found a small crack along a settled mortar line in the foundation (and a few broken bricks) where the ants were entering from outside.
A lot of ant problems start from tiny structural gaps like this that most homeowners would never notice. Finding the entry point is often the key to solving the problem long term. Not just spraying the ants you can see.
