Home for the Holidays 🤩 You guys! I absolutely love this home (& the homeowner - who’s a family friend of mine) and we had a total transformation of the second story of their home. Out of respect of the homeowners wishes I did not take any before photos but the after of this master bed is stunning! I dream on this fun color combination!!! 🐠🐟💚 This job was broken up into two days and tomorrow I will be hitting the ground running on the first story to get this home Thanksgiving ready! This is a PSA that every house has different needs than the next! Swipe to see the before of this rusty sink. The homeowner told us their plumber told them the rust is caused from men shaving in that sink for 50+ years so it’s forever rusted. No worries on our end, we tried our best to remove as much rust as possible. The homeowner was very impressed (& frankly, we were too 😅) at this transformation.

🚨 Small reminder that a messy house doesn’t mean it’s not a clean house and a home that’s not clean doesn’t mean YOU aren’t clean! Life happens and you LIVE in your home so please do not be hard on yourself when there are shoes laying around, toys all over the house, dishes in the sink or overflowing trash cans. This client contacted me to help pack her house, pick it up and then on a later date she had me come back for a basic cleaning so she could put her beautiful home on the market. April showers bring May…specials(?) 😂 Be on the look out for a Mothers Day special in May! 🌷🌷🌷
Sarah here! I do want to take a moment to talk about showers. Check out this before and after from a deep clean today! Most showers are typically in need of major TLC. In fact, I don’t think I’ve cleaned a house that didn’t have a shower that needed some extra scrubbin’, even the showers that don’t get used. Typically, showers (even the ones that don’t get used) collect a pretty good amount of dust. More importantly though, are the showers that do get used and collect build up from soaps, scrubs, fallen hair, and our beloved hard Texas water. If neglected for some time you will start to see orange build up and possibly even mold. Unfortunately there is only so much a house keeper can do for a moldy shower. In fact, I make it a point to mention that I do not offer mold removal services and can only do so much during a deep clean, and even less in a basic clean. In a basic clean I do light scrubbing and mostly wiping down the inside of the shower which takes about 10-15 minutes. In a deep clean, like was done for this shower, I spend 30-60 minutes scrubbing the shower as much as possible with as many of the toughest products as possible. Sometimes it takes multiple scrub downs before you can see a difference. Keep this in mind the next time you are booking a cleaning and want your shower to be the focus, you may just need a deep clean!
