Spring will be turning into summer soon (let's hope) and we want to help you plan your visit to unwind at Wedges Creek for our special events. We know it’s been a long road and we understand that patience has been tested along the way. Projects like this take time, especially when it comes to raising the necessary funds. We also experienced a setback with the need to dig a well, which added to the timeline and cost! But, a bright side is that it’s one of the best wells in the city and will serve this project well for years to come along with benefiting the city of Loyal.

That said, we’re excited to share that Phase 2 is expected to begin by the second week of May—as long as this rain lets up! Once it starts, things should move quickly.

We truly appreciate the support from our community and surrounding areas, it means more than you know. We are still a bit short on funds and are continuing to accept donations to help bring this project across the finish line.

The Trump administration is using the fact that Alex Pretti had a gun (legally with a permit to carry in Minnesota) as a justification for his killing, even though the traditional conservative movement’s position is that the Second Amendment exists as a safeguard against tyranny.

“Well, masked agents of the state beating and even killing Americans on the streets of a major city looks an awful lot like tyranny to many Americans,” Vox senior correspondent Zack Beauchamp writes.

“To cite Pretti’s decision to carry as a justification for his killing is to directly betray the entire premise of the conservative movement’s pro-gun stance. And no, it doesn’t make a difference for this point that Pretti supposedly ‘interfered’ with ICE by aiding a woman their officers had attacked. He was, in his judgment, standing up to tyranny — without ever drawing his weapon or threatening an agent.”

I’ve never come across a business that takes full advantage of an already horrible situation by charging an astronomical amount of money for a person to get their primary vehicle after it was called to be towed by the police that decided to call and have it towed rather than call family a mile away and allow them to come get it. I am appalled at the disrespect and lack of sympathy given. I was just bragging to someone about this place and my fantastic experience with them years ago. I am disgusted that they are requiring that we pay $580 cash to get a truck that was towed last night around 7-8. I will do everything I can, as a business owner and a google guide and a member of this community, to rate, review, report, and complain the straight unprofessionalism by Jensens in Hixton. Now the last place on earth i would ever recommend for any reason
