UPDATE!! After checking road conditions, a decision was made to cancel all services today, Monday, February 23. Some areas were ok while others were not. Wires down, ice, untreated roads, etc. led to the decision. We want to keep our drivers safe. We will operate on a holiday schedule. All customers will be picked up a day later for the remainder of the week. Commercial customers please be sure to keep driveways, service areas, and containers
cleared of snow. Containers that aren’t accessible will not be able to be serviced. We apologize for the inconvenience. Stay safe!

Monday Customers: Due to the winter storm warning, we will be delaying service by at least 6 hours. Normally the drivers begin at 12 AM, but for now are waiting until daybreak. If we find that the roads are still too hazardous in the morning, there is a possibility that we won't operate at all tomorrow. If that becomes the case, then we will operate on a holiday schedule and everyone will be picked up a day later. We apologize for the inconvenience and certainly will post an update once we see how the storm plays out. Weather related information and updates will also be posted on our website as well as WFMZ. Last Thursday, we held a luncheon to honor long time employee Nancy Miller. After 21 years of service, we had to say good-bye. This awesome lady begins the next amazing chapter of her life...Retirement! It's great to see someone retire who is as deserving as her. She always gave her all and will be certainly remembered for her unwavering commitment and hard work over the years. We are so thankful she was here when we bought Ziegler's Hauling and got back into the residential side of business. She was a huge asset and looking back, we couldn't have done it without her. She was courteous, patient, friendly, and professional when dealing not only with our customers, but her co-workers as well. She helped make all our jobs a little easier and our office a nice place to work. We will miss her great work ethic, but even more, we are going to miss all the fun, laughter, and friendship we shared over the years. We hope her retirement is filled with all the things she has been looking forward to - whether it's traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply just relaxing. New adventures lie ahead and we hope she takes the chance to discover new and interesting things. We wish that she be blessed with good health, great company, and above all, lots of love and happiness. She most certainly deserves it! We're sad to see her leave, but we wish her all the best in this next stage of her life. Happy Retirement! The best is yet to come!

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

Due to there now being a potential winter storm of snow and ice Friday night into Saturday morning, a decision was made to double up on our routes Friday. Friday routes will not be delayed a day later as previously stated on our recycling calendars. Thursday routes will be completed first and then Friday routes right after. Thursday and Friday customers please have your toters out Thursday, December 25 by 9 PM. Some drivers are starting earlier than usual in order to get all of Thursday and Friday routes completed. Friday customers please note that you might be picked up later than you normally are, so please do not pull your toters in until they have been emptied. Our goal is to have all routes completed by Friday afternoon. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience we might have caused. To our awesome customers, vendors, and employees - have a wonderful and blessed Christmas! We appreciate you!

Just a reminder that our drivers have chosen to work Thanksgiving and be off Black Friday. That means there will be service as usual on Thanksgiving. Please have your containers out by 9:00 this evening. Service for Friday customers will be delayed until Saturday (put your trash out Friday evening for early Saturday morning pick-up).

AS A REMINDER, THERE WILL BE TRASH SERVICE ON FRIDAY, JULY 4TH. It was our drivers' decision to work the holiday. Friday is their easiest day and they preferred coming in on the holiday rather than having off and then having to come back in on Saturday. Again, there WILL BE TRASH SERVICE ON JULY 4TH. Please put your trash out Thursday evening by 9:00 PM.

Celebrated Administrative Professionals Day this week. A big shout out to our office staff. They do so much to keep things running smoothly. All of their contributions to our company are tremendous! We appreciate their work ethic, professionalism, dedication, and great attitude. We are so grateful for this amazing group of individuals and would be lost without them. Please put your trash out as you normally do. We plan on running on our normal schedule, but might get delayed a few hours due to the impending winter weather. We ask for your patience as we get our Thursday routes completed. Please DO NOT PULL IN YOUR TOTERS until they have been emptied. Any changes will be posted on WFMZ.

Monday Residential Customers:

Berger Sanitation is picking up trash and recycling today. Due to the weather, we are currently 5-6 hours behind schedule. We ask for your patience and understanding as our drivers navigate snow covered roads in order to complete routes and service customers the best they can. Some customers have chosen not to put their toters out at all. If you chose to do so, we will certainly take all the extra trash next week. However, the recycling will have to wait 2 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience. Stay safe!
