It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the laundry and dry cleaning needs of the NC Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officers over the years. We were humbled yesterday by this presentation. Thank you! We will miss the many friendships made with the special men and women that protect us each day. Dear Friends,

It is bittersweet that I share with you that I will retire on December 31, 2020, and therefore, close the doors of Acme Cleaners & Laundry in Nashville, NC. My father, Warren Evans, opened Acme Cleaners & Laundry in March, 1943, emphasizing quality care. I have been a part of the business since 1973. Everyone says you know when it is time to retire and make a change, and I know my time is now. It is time to turn the page and begin a new, more restful journey.

It has been a privilege to serve the laundry and dry cleaning needs of the Nashville Community and surrounding area for over 77 years. The Community’s support and loyalty is greatly appreciated. Nashville is a great place to live and work, and we have been blessed with wonderful customers that have become a part of our family. Most of all, I will miss the time spent with our customers and friends.

We were privileged to employ some wonderful people over the years, and our current employees are wished nothing but success as they begin a new journey. Thank you to all who helped make Acme Cleaners & Laundry a success for 77 years. May God truly bless each and everyone of you!

FYI, according to Governor Cooper’s “stay at home order” effective Monday, March 30, 5:00, we are considered an essential business. Therefore, Acme Cleaners will remain open to meet all your laundry and dry cleaning needs. We may need to alter hours and adjust daily routines, but rest assure we will do all we can to be there for our customers while meeting COVID -19 requirements. We are in this COVID-19 crisis together! Stay safe and healthy!
