Friends, your Muskegon Laundromat is constantly being updated and renewed. In February, we installed two new 75 lb. reversing dryers. A new Carrier 15-ton air conditioning system was installed last September. We added 2 new 40 lb. washers and 1 new 80 lb. washer last October. We also installed 3 new Standard bill changers in November.

Ask yourself when was the last time your laundromat put in some new equipment. Have you seen any money being put back into the laundromat you use? At Muskegon Laundromat, equipment up-grades happen regularly.

Friends, We've installed new triple load washers! Stop in today and take one for a spin. These beautiful new washers are state-of-the-art machines. These washers extract faster than the triple loaders that they replaced so less drying time is needed. You'll love these bright, new washers.

Friends, I have installed some antimicrobial laundry carts at your Muskegon Laundromat. You can use one of these special carts to transfer your laundry from the washers to the dryers. Friends, During these difficult times we want you to know that we're here for you. Here's what we're doing to make your life as normal as possible.

1. We've separated the folding tables to provide 6 feet between users. Unlike some laundromats, we still allow you to fold after drying.
2. We've maintained our normal hours - 7 AM to 11 PM daily.
3. We're disinfecting surfaces on a regular basis every day.
4. We're wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
5. We're flying our flag at half staff to commemorate those who have died of COVID-19.

Friends, I've been working for the past 3 weeks to develop a comprehensive COVID-19 response program. I am happy to announce that, starting today, that program is in effect at your Muskegon Laundromat. Major features of this new program include: social distancing measures, additional disinfecting measures and hotter water temperatures in the washers. Friends, As you know, social media sites like Facebook, Google, Yelp, etc. encourage you to rate the businesses that you frequent. "Like us on Facebook" is a common plea from many businesses. As you may also know, I have never, ever urged anyone to "Like us on Facebook" or rate us on Google. Why not? Because I think that such ratings are, well, over-rated and often unfair. How is that? Well, yesterday the Muskegon Laundromat received a 2 star rating on Google. That's it, just the rating with no explanation for such a low rating. Such a rating could have been posted by a competitor or a disgruntled former employee or someone who simply thinks our prices are too high. I'll never know the reason for that low rating and I certainly won't let it bother me either. After all, I'm much too busy providing you, my dedicated customers, with the very best facility that I can. Thank you for your continued support.

Friends, I just want to thank all our customers for your patience during our recent roof replacement project. This was a huge undertaking that came with a few surprises but I am happy to report that your Muskegon Laundromat now has a brand new roof system. This improved roof should keep all of us dry well into the 2030s.
