DAY 1- ONE PREGNANT FEMALE
6 WEEKS- 22 BEDBUGS
12 WEEKS- 106 BEDBUGS
16 WEEKS- 421 BEDBUGS
6 MONTHS- 13,328 BEDBUGS

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS ARE THAT THEY SPIN A FREEWAY OF ALMOST INVISIBLE WEBS AND YOU WILL NORMALLY NOT SEE ANY PREY STUCK TO THEIR WEBS.

YOU WILL SEE A COUPLE OF EGG SACKS IN THE MIDDLE WITH A MOMMY CLOSE BY!! IF YOU CAN GET CLOSE ENOUGH YOU WILL SEE
A “VIOLIN SHAPE” ON THEIR
ABDOMEN!! HENCE THE NICKNAME “VIOLIN SPIDER”!!

When it comes to choosing an exterminator you must ask the tough questions, and they had better be able to answer them, for instance:

“Is it harmful to me, my children, or my pets?”
The answer should be that all pesticides are “toxic chemicals” but as long as we apply them properly then there shouldn’t be any problems! We are careful not to spray in areas where your children or pets could easily come in contact with the chemicals!

“Should I be concerned about any side effects from the chemicals?”
The answer should be that if you experience symptoms common to the “flu or seasonal illness” with 24 hours of application the you would need to contact your physician or the Poison Control Center” at (1-800-222-2222).

“Will you leave me a list of chemicals that you used, active ingredients, percentages, and amount used?”
The answer should be yes!! This is information that your physician and Poison Control Center will need to determine what the antidote is in case of an reaction!!

“Do you guarantee your work and will you come back out “free of charge” in between services if I have a problem?”
The answer should be 100% yes!!

“Do I have to sign a contract?”
The answer from most companies will be yes!! Then you have to give them up to 3 chances after they fail before they will let you out of the contract without suing you!!

We have no contracts(except for heat treatments for bedbugs), which is a one time treatment!

We want you to be able to fire us if we don’t do our job!!

To become an exterminator in Iowa you are not required to have any prior experience!
You are only required to pass 2 tests, one a 35 and one 50 question test, and with $500-$600 for insurance you are all of the sudden a qualified exterminator?!

I was hired as an applicator and had to have 2 years experience before I could even take test to become a “Field Representative”. After 5 years of training and 30 tests later, I was able to own my own company!!
