BEYOND GRATEFUL - This is overdue, but, you know my middle name is “Procrastination”. The response to the 2022 Allied Maintenance Detail Club (AKA Pre-scheduling) was better than I expected and I am beyond grateful to you all that continue to trust me to take care of your vehicle(s). We are officially booked until August/September! Fully booked, not because I only work 2-days per week or 20-hours week and take a vacation every month (some people assume it’s because he must only be working part-time - NOPE).
Now that the sun is shining & peaking out more often and people are seeing how dirty their vehicles are, the phone is ringing and people are stopping by. “I will happily detail your vehicle in August/September and it’s going to cost a little more”. EXTENDED-Have you joined the “club” yet? You still have time - I knew that I would extend the enrollment period when I dropped the nearly 600 postcards in the mail on January 17th (which should’ve happened at the beginning of January-but-PROCRASTINATION), because I wanted to give my clients the entire month of January to contact me and give myself time to return calls & messages to get everyone scheduled for 2022. With that said, ignore the yard sign deadline, you can still join the “club” until Februay 7th, 2022 and save $75.00. Starting February 8th, 2022 our MOST POPULAR SERVICE since 2008 will be an additional $75.00. Join the “club”, it’s FREE, all you have to do is pre-schedule your details for the year ONE OR TWENTY.

SORRY/THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE - These past few weeks have been chaotic doing all-the-things and my chronic procrastination didn’t help (next year will be better). I won’t try to update my office and shop, detail, update services, send out postcards/letters and schedule a year's worth of detailing at the same time. QUALITY-OVER-QUANTITY - The appreciation that I have for my clients is immeasurable and I make sure they know it through my quality of work and customer service. Not once, but, everytime they bring their vehicle in they get the same - consistent - quality. I feel that they are due that when paying me with their hard earned money.

With that being said, I don't wash vehicles I DETAIL them. A thorough hand wash & dry can take up to 90 minutes, that's before touching the inside or applying any exterior protection. My wash process takes so much more time compared to the tunnel car wash. Let's also not forget that I am only one person. I have a dozen clients that stay on my calendar as recurring details (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) and some that schedule for the year.

I know some of you are probably thinking, "just hire someone". I've done that and it's exhausting and half the time doesn't work, because, I would rather produce quality work at a slower pace versus half-ass work and tarnish my reputation.

So, what is the reason for this long post? Thanks for asking - now that I am back open at the height of my busy season I am getting bombarded with detail requests, after informing him or her that I am 8+ weeks out I get these snide remarks. Today's was the best, "my car will turn into a speck of dust by then".

Since, I'm not willing to tattoo my motto on my body my t-shirt will have to suffice. Thank you to all my patient and understanding clients. You will get the quality you deserve.

12-YEARS + FLASH SALE - Oh my flipping goodness - Allied is 12-years old today. Some would ask - where has the time gone? That can’t be right…12-years. It’s been that long. Yep, over 12-years ago I signed the lease to that haunted looking building. After, roughly two-months of detailing the place (there was a lot of freaking oil on those suppose to be white walls) – Allied officially opened May 15, 2008.

I’ve detailed it all, well almost, still haven’t detailed an ATV and won’t touch a semi. I’ve detailed house boats, pontoon boats, bass boats, motor homes, a bicycle, a lawnmower, an airplane, cargo trailers, dump trucks, motorcycles, postal trucks, vintage and new and so many others.

I’ve detailed all types of situations – I’ll keep that to myself, but, you should NEVER be ashamed about bringing your vehicle to me because I’ve seen some stuff you would not want to touch.

Throughout 12-years I had the fortune to foster entrepreneurship into Abby with her famous lemonade stand (still working on that next venture) and later the AMAZING and UNIQUE Oasis Skin Care Clinic LLC. So proud of my girls!

There has been blood, sweat and tears. These 12-years have been the best education a person can ask for. I’ve learned so much about: myself, customer service, hard-work vs. smart-work (still working on this one), the importance of consistency, people (this was and is huge), finances, importance of a healthy lifestyle (if I don’t work I don’t get paid) and so much more.

I could go on and on, but, I will end with this. I am so freaking GRATEFUL for ALL of my fantastic clients that have supported my local small business all these years. I am thankful for the individuals that have spread the word about me/Allied and the quality of work I produce and the level of customer service I provide. YOU are awesome.
