As I, Sheriff Pineiroa, was driving home for the night, I decided to take a detour to check on other roads. I drove on Springfield Rd Hwy 150 and Popplar Flat Rd, which are getting increasingly slippery. The sleet is falling on top of the existing snow, making the roads even more hazardous. Despite driving slowly at 27 mph, I slid several times. I advise you to stay home unless absolutely necessary. If you are essential personnel and must go to work, please allow extra time for your commute. If you feel it's too dangerous, turn around and head back home. We can replace material goods, but we cannot replace human life. Please prioritize your safety and stay warm, as it's extremely cold outside.
