What's the most destructive mammal? The one that creates costly damage to manmade structures? The Norway rat! Do you notice marks of chewing or droppings in your home? Let us come inspect for and remove these little critters. Next steps would be sealing possible entry points in order to keep that rat away. Give us a call at 843-345-7378

We took care of this big boy last week! According to University of Georgia research, alligators are "opportunistic feeders" adults eat fish, turtles, wading birds, snakes, frogs, small mammals and even smaller alligators they find near the shoreline of their habitat. Young alligators feed on small fish and aquatic invertebrates, but in turn, they can be food for raccoons, crabs, large snakes, turtles, various types of wading birds and even fish.
See "small mammal"? That can easily be your pet.
Let's keep you and your family safe. Give us a call if you need help with one of these! 843-345-7378

What do you have going on today? We’re out dealing with some geese! Did you know according to SC DNR we have 3 types of geese in South Carolina? We’re saying goodbye to 2 for the year since 2 types are migratory and visit us only in the Fall and Winter. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean we’re left alone! Thousands of that 3rd type of geese remain! As the geese population increases in your area, you’ll notice an increase of f***s as well as overgrazing of your yard. Your beautiful garden you’ve been working on? They may tear that up, too! Let us know if you need some control over those critters!

FREE BAT INSPECTIONS!

What do you know about bats? Let's see what DNR has to say!
Did you know that they are the only mammal capable of flight because of their elongated bones (similar to fingers) and thin wing membrane? They eat insects primarily, but some eat fruits, nectar and small animals. There are 47 bat species documented in the US and 14 of those are found in South Carolina. Bats can be helpful when it comes to eating other pests, but they aren't always great for you. Try to figure out if the bats you have around are helping you fend off bugs or damaging your house! Damaging your house? We can help you with those. Give us a call 843-345-7378

The little masked bandits we call raccoons can be a major problem. According to SCDNR raccoons stand 9-10 inches at the shoulder and weigh 6-12 pounds. The oldest recorded raccoon was 13 years old. Raccoons tend to live in areas near water such as marshes and around ponds, which as you know is a large chunk of the lowcountry, but they are a problem state-wide. They eat everything from crayfish to clams, frogs to salamanders, snails to turtles. They also steal from birds nests. They don’t just eat other animals though. They also eat berries, acorns and wild grapes. On top of that, they may raid your garden and fields for corn, watermelons and peanuts. But what you may have a bigger problem with is that they also rummage through your household trash. Be careful, these creatures can carry rabies. If you’re having problems with raccoons, feel free to give us a call! 843-345-7378
