I Love Following this sweet young lady, the Cleaning Fairy Sharie! ☺️
Her videos are so informative and interesting.
I don't have time to make videos while cleaning and I was just watching this one she made, showing the difference between a Deep Clean and a Standard/Maintenance cleaning.
Some think that a Deep Cleaning means that I clean things, that I don't clean during a standard cleaning, but that's just not the case. I clean all the same things, it's just that a Deep Clean is needed when it hasn't been cleaned in awhile and everything needs a little extra TLC, a little extra elbow grease, which takes more time and effort.
That's why whenever I begin a new clean somewhere, I do a deep clean first, making sure I get everything clean that hasn't been touched in a while and needs a little extra work. There's extra dirt, hair, dust and grime, so that entails more scrubbing, more wiping, going over a surface more than once and extra layers of cleaning and different cleansers, as opposed to a Standard cleaning that I do a week, 2 weeks, month or so later, after my Deep Clean.
I am able to keep up on it much easier and it only takes one or two wipes through to wipe something down and clean it, for example. Especially if it's a weekly or bi-weekly. The longer you go in between cleanings, the more it becomes a bit of a deep clean again, depending on how much dirt buildup there is in between.
Which is why it requires extra elbow grease, work and time, hence why I charge a little extra for a deep clean, than a standard cleaning. Once everything is deep cleaned, it's much easier to keep up on and requires less time and work.
I hope this explains it clearly to those who weren't sure. ☺️
Thanks Sharie! 🩷
