People often think being a house cleaner is just about scrubbing bathrooms, dusting shelves, and mopping floors.
Truthfully… that’s usually the easiest part of what I do.
Over this last yr since I’ve started my business, I’ve walked into homes where families are grieving the loss of a loved one, fighting serious illnesses, struggling with anxiety or depression, caring for aging parents, raising children on their own, or simply trying to keep their heads above water.
Many times, I’m more than just their house cleaner.
I’m someone they can talk to without feeling judged.
I’ve listened to tears, laughter, worries, and stories that I’ll never forget.
I’ve had clients apologize over and over for the condition of their home, but I’ve never judged them for it. A messy home is often a reflection of everything someone is carrying—not who they are.
The dirt isn’t the hardest thing to clean.
The hardest part is knowing the pain, stress, and heartbreak that led to it.
Those stories stay with me long after I leave, and I carry them quietly because that’s part of caring for the people behind the home.
Cleaning isn’t just my job.
Yes, I love making homes sparkle, but I also love giving people a fresh start, a sense of peace, and one less thing to worry about.
Sometimes a clean home can help someone breathe a little easier, smile a little more, and feel like they’re finally getting back on their feet.
That’s why I do what I do.
Because this work is about so much more than cleaning.
It’s about compassion, kindness, and helping people through seasons of life when they need it most. And I wouldn’t trade that for anything. ❤️
