Mount Jewett Borough Sewer Department

By now most of you have heard that the Mt. Jewett Borough has dissolved the Sewer Authority, I have had questions of what that means so I will clarify how this affects you as a customer. The only thing that will change is who the check gets written to from now on you can write your checks to the Mt. Jewett Borough Sewer Department MJBSD for short. If you have automatic payments with Hamlin Bank please go and fill out a new form to have the payment go into the correct account. DOXO reoccurring payments will not need to do anything they will still be processed as normal. Our P.O. Box is still 680. Other than that nothing is different if you have questions about your account I will be more than happy to help you. The office hours are still the same Mon-Fri 8-12 and the phone number and email address remain the same 814-975-3035 [email protected]. The Mt. Jewett Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority meeting scheduled for Wednesday April 10th has been cancelled the next meeting is scheduled for May 14,2024 at 5:30 pm.

The Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority will be closed for the Holidays Friday Dec. 22- Tuesday Dec.26 we will resume normal business hours on Wed. Dec. 27th. Have a Merry Christmas and be safe!

The Mt. Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority will be closed Friday June 30th through Tuesday July 4th we will be back in the office on Wednesday July 5th. Have a safe 4th!!!

The Mt. Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority will hold its last daytime meeting Wednesday April 12, 2023 at 10:30 am in the Borough Conference Room. Next month on Tuesday May 9,2023 the meetings will go back to 5:30 pm and go back to the second Tuesday of the month until November when we will switch back. All meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

The Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority will hold it's monthly meeting today Dec. 14th at 10:30 am in the Borough Conference Room. During this time the office will be closed to customers needing account information, I will leave a note pad by window if you need me to get you any information leave me a note and a phone number I will get back to you as soon as the meeting is over.. The meeting is open to the public all are welcome to attend.
