🔧 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN CHINA GROVE! 🔧

The Pride Plumbing team is wrapping up an exciting commercial remodel at the new Tractor Supply Co. store in China Grove, NC, and we couldn't be prouder of what our team has pulled off!

Since mid-February, our guys have been on-site working to get this store ready for opening. This one was no small task — here's a look at everything Pride Plumbing tackled on this job:

🏗️ Demo & Under-Slab Work — One of the more labor-intensive parts of this project. We cut and removed concrete to install underground plumbing, requiring precision and experience to get it right.

🚻 Bathroom Remodels (Men's & Women's) — Full demo of existing ADA toilets, wall-hung lavatories, and urinals. Supplied and installed new Kohler pressure-assisted toilets and American Standard wall-hung lavatories with Delta faucets throughout.

🐾 Pet Wash Station — Rough-in and fixture set-out for a full pet wash area, including floor drains, floor sinks, clean-outs, and a Navien LP gas tankless water heater to keep those pups comfortable!

💧 Water Cooler Relocation — Removed an existing bi-level water cooler in the corridor and installed a new bi-level unit with bottle filler at a new location.

🧹 Janitor Closet — Supplied and installed a new 24x24 Fiat mop sink with faucet.

🔥 Gas Line Work — Ran approximately 40' of 1" black steel gas line overhead and on the roof, tied into the existing line, and installed a ball valve, drip leg, and regulator — all painted yellow and stickered per code.

🎥 Jet Wash & Sewer Camera — Jet washed the main drain lines in the bathrooms and pet wash station and ran a sewer camera to inspect and document our findings.

From demo day to final testing, this project had it all — and our team delivered! We're grateful for the continued partnership with Retail Pro Contracting and excited to see this new Tractor Supply location open its doors to the China Grove community soon. 🐄🌾

💧 Low Water Pressure? It Might Be Simpler (and Cheaper) to Fix Than You Think.

Before you assume something major is going on or call a plumber, take a look at your faucet aerators. They’re the small screens on the tip of your faucets, and they often trap mineral deposits and bits of debris that can noticeably cut down the water flow.

✅ Quick DIY fix:
💧 Lay a cloth over the sink's drain and unscrew the aerator (most of the time you can do it by hand, or you might need a small wrench—if using a wrench, wrap a cloth around the aerator first so you don’t scratch its finish). Once removed, take note of any washers, rubber flow restrictors, and small metal screens that are stacked on top of one another down inside the aerator and what order each component is in. You'll want to ensure they are put back in this same order before reinstalling it.
💧 Rinse and clean out any gunk, mold, scale, or sediment with warm water (an old toothbrush usually does the trick).
💧 Put the aerator back together (remember the order mentioned earlier), screw it back on the faucet, and see if your water pressure improves.

Pro tips:
📄 Check your fixture’s owner’s manual first.
💻 Look on the manufacturer’s website for cleaning steps or suggestions on which aerator replacement to use.

💰 Save a little money:
A lot of people get their water pressure back in just a few minutes without spending anything. It’s an easy bit of upkeep that can cut down on service calls and may help your fixtures last longer.
