There’s a very personal reason I chose the two organizations we’re supporting for Dogust. 🐾💕
These two right here. ❤️
Hazel came to me from Richmond Animal Care & Control (EIGHT YEARS AGO), and W***y was originally at Central VA Friends of Petersburg Animal Care and Control before being pulled by Beagles and Bentleys .
Two very different stories, but they have one very important thing in common:
They both ended up here. With my family. And they changed our lives.
That’s why supporting local shelters and rescues means so much to me. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when someone gives a shelter dog a chance.
So for Dogust, I wanted to give back to the organizations that were part of Hazel and W***y’s stories. Because behind every shelter kennel is a dog who has a story still waiting to be written. ❤️
This month, Pretties + Papers will be donating to RACC’s Tommie Fund and Petersburg Animal Shelter through our Dogust fundraiser.
Because every dog deserves a chance to find their person, their home, and their happily ever after.
And these two? They’re my reminder of just how much that second chance can mean. 🐾💕
