Lint and hair will combine to make a strong substance which in this case tied itself around my cleaning rods and had to be cut off! This photo was taken half way through the first cleaning in 10+ years on this home.

Another before and after! 🤩Imagine your dryer trying to blow hot air with chunks of lint through these two corners and which one you think will work better. In the after photo on the bottom, that slight adjustment will take more than 5 ft of resistance off the dryer vent length.😮

This one caught me off guard!! 😳

I discovered the dryer vent was going into the wall, then back out of the wall through a 6 inch air duct to the outside. 🤔
-
After cutting open the wall to confirm my suspicion, I was able to run a new 4 inch pipe on the inside of the old one and connect it as you see in the image for better air flow and safety.

One call to The Lint Man corrected 50 years of problems!!! 💪
