As many of you know, our area is currently under a mandatory water restriction. Because of this, we’ve experienced some delays and are running behind schedule.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience, and as soon as the restriction is lifted, we’ll be back full steam ahead working hard to get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible.

Burke County is now under Stage 2 water restrictions.

That means this is no longer voluntary; we need everyone to start cutting back.

Here’s what that looks like:

Reduce your water use by about 10%
Only water lawns twice a week between 8PM and 8AM
No washing driveways or sidewalks
No washing personal vehicles at home

We didn’t get here overnight, and we won’t get out of it overnight either. Conditions are still dry, and this step helps protect our water supply for what matters most.

If conditions get worse, restrictions will tighten; that’s not where we want to go.

Do your part now so we don’t have to go there.
