Many people often ask why we are so passionate about control the numbers of Canada Geese on our customers lakes. Many often insert the argument that they harm nothing. Well Canada Geese eat 2.5 pounds of grass daily and drop 1.5 to 2 pounds of p**p into the water and grass around waterways. This along with rain water running off from fertilizers used in yards leads to extremely high nitrogen levels in the lakes. This feeds and fertilizes the unwanted algae blooms in your lake that consumes all the necessary oxygen levels in your lake. Remove all the oxygen levels and have a total fish kill. This lake I evaluated yesterday obviously has plenty of water and water flow into the lake. There is no other reason to explain the fish kill that is happening other than extremely high nitrogen levels. Another concern is bacteria levels in the waters rise due to goose droppings. When you witness large numbers of fish lining the shorelines please for your safety keep out of the water and keep your kids and pets out. We here at Eco Wildlife Solutions are your area resident Canada Goose specialist. We can offer you legal solutions to remove your goose problems and lessen the loss of your beneficial fish populations.

We at Eco Wildlife Solutions LLC would like to take a moment and pause to remember the men and women that gave all in the security of our great nation on this day. We have visited the memorial and witnessed the wreckage. Oil still rises today as a reminder of the events of this day in 1941. Remember our service men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of evil.

From all of us here at Eco Wildlife Solutions hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Another prime example of non native wildlife that was introduced into our environment. Florida wildlife professionals are urging property owners to harvest invasive iguanas found on their properties to try and stay ahead if the green wave. Iguanas were introduced by the pet trade. Most buy iguanas and house them until they grow to large to house them. They are then released into the environment. Florida's weather and environment is the perfect tropical environment to support an explosion of non native iguanas. Please do your part to keep our native wildlife safe by not introducing non native species into our local habitat.

As the nonnative reptiles thrive, the state's wildlife agency is encouraging homeowners to kill them "whenever possible."
